• Resumes and Documents: Uploaded CVs, cover letters, certificates, and other application materials
• Voice Recordings: Audio samples from voice verification assessments
• Assessment Data: Responses to psychological assessments and English proficiency tests
• Communication Data: Messages, emails, and communications with employers or our support team
• Payment Information: Billing details processed through PayPal (we do not store complete credit card numbers)
• Company Information (Employers): Company name, industry, size, job postings, hiring preferences

• Usage Data: Pages viewed, features used, time spent, search queries, application activity
• Device Information: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers

4.1 With Employers (for Agents)

When you apply to jobs, we share your:

• Profile information, resume, and application materials
• Voice verification scores and recordings
• Assessment results (if employer requires them)
• Contact information for interview scheduling

4.2 With Candidates (for Employers)

We share employer information including:

• Company name and profile
• Job descriptions and requirements
• Contact details for interview coordination

4.3 With Service Providers

We share data with third-party vendors who help us operate:

• Cloud Hosting: Vercel, AWS, Railway, or other hosting providers store and process your data globally
• Payment Processing: PayPal processes all payment transactions and may store billing information
• Email Services: SendGrid, AWS SES, or similar providers send transactional and marketing emails
• AI Services: OpenAI (ChatGPT, GPT-4 Vision, Whisper), Google AI, and other AI providers analyze voice recordings, generate assessments, power matching algorithms, process user content, and parse resumes. Specifically, our AI Resume Parser uses OpenAI GPT-4 Vision to extract information from uploaded resume documents (PDFs and images) to automatically populate your profile with work experience, skills, and education. Your resume data is sent to OpenAI's servers for processing and may be used to train and improve these AI models according to OpenAI's data usage policies.
• Analytics: Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar services track usage patterns and user behavior
• Customer Support: Support ticket systems, chat platforms may access your communications
• Google Services: We use Google OAuth for secure authentication, and Google Calendar API for interview scheduling functionality. Specifically:
  • Google OAuth: To authenticate users and access their basic profile information (name, email, profile photo)
  • Google Calendar API: To create, read, and manage interview calendar events when employers schedule interviews with job candidates. This includes creating calendar events, adding attendees, sending calendar invitations, and syncing interview times to prevent scheduling conflicts. We access calendar data only with your explicit consent and use it exclusively for interview scheduling purposes.
  • Data Storage: We do not store your Google Calendar data on our servers. We only create and manage interview events through the Google Calendar API. All calendar data remains in your Google account.
  • Limited Use Disclosure: Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google Calendar data is NEVER used for: (1) AI training or machine learning, (2) marketing or promotional purposes, (3) analytics beyond interview scheduling functionality, (4) profile matching algorithms, or (5) any purpose other than providing interview scheduling features.
  • Revoking Access: You can revoke our access to your Google Calendar at any time through your Google Account settings (myaccount.google.com/permissions).
• CDN and Storage: Vercel Blob, Cloudflare, or similar for file uploads and media delivery

4.4 For Legal and Safety Reasons

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with business transactions (mergers, acquisitions).

4.5 Aggregated Data

We may share anonymized, aggregated data publicly or with partners for research, marketing, or industry analysis.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. After account deletion, we may retain certain data for:

• Legal compliance (tax records, transaction history): 7 years
• Fraud prevention and security: 5 years
• Anonymized analytics: Indefinitely
• Backup systems: 90 days after deletion request

However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside El Salvador, including the United States, European Union, and other jurisdictions. Specifically:

• United States: AWS, OpenAI, PayPal, Google, and other US-based providers process and store your data
• European Union: Some hosting and analytics services may process data in EU data centers
• Global CDN: Content delivery networks replicate data across multiple countries for performance
• Cloud Services: Data may be automatically replicated across global server regions

We ensure adequate safeguards for international transfers through standard contractual clauses, data processing agreements, and compliance with Privacy Shield principles where applicable. However, data protection laws in other countries may differ from those in El Salvador. By using SivarJobs, you explicitly consent to international data transfers.

9. Children's Privacy

SivarJobs is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, contact us immediately.

10. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for:
